The rainbow flag is the most recognizable symbol of the gay community for the gay community.
It is also officially recognised by governing bodies, international organisations and most of the worlds media and press as the Symbolic flag under which groups have moved Gay rights into the public agenda
It's origins date back to 1978 when it first appeared in the San Francisco
2012 Gran Canaria and things are quite different, the Gay Pride Celebrations in the sun last for a week plus
and tens of thousands of new visitors from all over Europe enjoy the Gay Pride Carnival in Maspalomas.
In a warm friendly fun atmosphere we dance along the streets to multiple sounds and feast our eyes on the colours and spectacular that unfolds. Some of the videos captured here and on other sites give you glimpses into week
